The increase of water reserves in Catalonia, thanks to the abundant rainfall in spring and the thaw of the winter snow, has brought a reprieve to the prevailing drought. However, the Costa Brava Girona Tourist Board continues working to position the Costa Brava and the Girona Pyrenees as a responsible tourist destination and promotes actions to support the sector and foster awareness among visitors of the need to conserve water. Thus, the Board has published the informative poster Water you doing? for tourist accommodation establishments in the province of Girona with the aim of giving a positive twist to the importance of conserving water by proposing six things that visitors can do to help reduce water consumption at destinations in the province of Girona without impairing the quality of their stay.
The Water you doing? poster has been distributed to the 800-plus tourism companies and organisations affiliated with the new product marketing clubs created by the Tourist Board.
The poster can be downloaded in four languages and two versions from the hotel and the tourist apartment and rural accommodation links.
