The Girona Counties G! Tourism Communication Awards, created by the Costa Brava Girona Tourist Board, are celebrated annually with the aim of recognising and rewarding outstanding content produced by journalists, influencers and content creators all over the world that best contributes towards informing, promoting and inspiring travellers and visitors to come and discover the Costa Brava and Girona Pyrenees destinations.

The awards are divided into four categories:

  • G! Award for the best sustainable tourism content: award that best reflects, promotes and raises awareness about sustainable tourism projects or experiences, in particular the content that is focused on respect for the environment, integration with local communities and a commitment to social responsibility in the sector.
  • G! Award for the best tourist experience: award that recognises the best ways to express or convey an experience or memorable tourist experiences with added value for visitors.
  • G! Award for the most original and innovative content: award for content that highlights the most authentic, exceptional or innovative tourism options in the destination
  • Climent Guitart G! Award for the best showcase of tourist values and attractions: award that recognises the content that most effectively and comprehensively conveys the essence, values and tourist attractions of the Costa Brava and the Girona Pyrenees
