The Girona Counties G! Tourism Communication Awards, created by the Costa Brava Girona Tourist Board, are celebrated annually with the aim of recognising and rewarding outstanding content produced by journalists, influencers and content creators all over the world that best contributes towards informing, promoting and inspiring travellers and visitors to come and discover the Costa Brava and Girona Pyrenees destinations.
The awards are divided into four categories:
For the feature article ‘The scent of the mountains and the sea’ published in the German magazine Brigitte.
For a series of seven articles dedicated to promoting local cuisine, published in the Catalan newspaper Diari Ara.
For writing the articles focusing on the Costa Brava: ‘Rustic Retreats in the Empordà’, published in the Financial Times, and ‘The Spanish Coast That Makes You Dream’, published in the New York Times’ T magazine supplement.
For the content published in the section ‘Wheelchair-accessible Catalonia: an accessible paradise between land and sea’ of the French blog Wheeled World.
For the articles ‘Paradisi fuori città’ (Paradises outside the city) and ‘Catalogna hai mai sciato sui Pirenei?’ (Catalonia: have you ever skied in the Pyrenees?), published in the Italian magazine Dove Viaggi.
For the article ‘A visit to Ernesto Collado, the essence-capturer of l’Empordà’, published in the lifestyle section of the Spanish newspaper El País.
